"looking myself looking at me"

the focusing is done by the lens+camera by sending an EM signal to the object found in front of them ... and collecting the reflected EM signal by the object ... delay time taken by the signal to go and back to the lens/camera determines the distance of the object from the lens/camera ... if i'm 5 meters away from the mirror, what is the "distance" between me and my camera? and if the speed of light is 3x10^8 m/s, how long does it take for the EM signal to go and back to the camera? .... am i holding the camera or not?

n this is the best result i can produce for the moment
shot using the 100-300 usm .. ofcourse, at 300mm
no tripod, just handheld
chromatique/colour aberation is obvious - gotta to touch up a bit using photoshop to take it away
may be i should find a telescope to get better image :)

i've counted the number of cherrys on the chocolat cake .. yes there are 33 of them. yes i'm 33 years old today. the first question i would like to ask myself today is ... what have i done for these 33 years of life? hmmm ... quite a tough question huh ... its not about what have i achieved during all this time ... because the term achievement is confusing ... if being rich is an achievement, it would be very easy for somebody born in a rich family to be succesful in his life ... then that would be an unfair measurement ... thats why the correct question is: what have i done all these years of life? and ofcourse, the question comes with all the terms and conditions .... may be i can rewrite the question with a bit more precision: with all the things that had happened around me, with all the resources that i have had in my posession, and with all the situations that i've faced during all this time, what have i done during all these years of life? yeah ... and yet the answer is even more difficult to formulate! "aah .... rien que d'y penser me fait exploser le coeur" (nothing but thinking about it would make my heart explode)...
life is just so fragile ...

no ... yeah, no i still dont have the answer to the question above ...
common ... think harder ... answer to the question!
yeah but ... i just cannot answer to that! .. because the analysis to be done to get the answer doesnt only concern what an eye can see, or what an ear can listen ...

For Sale : Canon EF 28-80mm 1:3.5-5.6 USM

up for sale: Canon lens EF 28-80mm 1:3.5-5.6 USM ultrasonic (the first version)
i bought this lens second hand together with the EF100-300USM
it has been tested and works properly
no scratch on the glass and no fungus or dust .. well .. not visible
somehow it does have a 3mm scratch on its body as can be seen in the photo
i bought it from the same vendor since the price of this lens was quite interesting
but in the same time i have an EF28-105USM thats works "à merveille"
no need this 28-80
anybody interested?
